I don’t know about you, but I’ve been barraged with ads from the Big Box Stores encouraging me to buy lots of stuff I don’t need and don’t want for the holiday season. Shopping is just not my thing, and when I do shop, I prefer sturdy, well-made items that last over mass produced junk that’s made to break and be replaced. This gave me an idea – why not create a spot where small business owners, crafters and those who write about making your own gifts could link up and share their ideas and goods? So here we are with the “Support a Thoughtful Christmas” link up.
If you have a small business, or an Etsy shop, or a blog post where you share gift making instructions, please link up your site below.
I’d like to give a shout out to some of my favorite small scale authors who have been featured on the blog in the past:
- Wardeh at GNOWFGLINS, with The Complete Idiots Guide to Fermenting Foods
- Jill at The Prairie Homestead, with Your Custom Homestead e-book
- James, The Survival Doctor, with his Wounds and Burns e-books
Join “Support a Thoughtful Christmas”
To join in, simply add your link below, then leave a comment describing your link/site/post. If you have a retail store that people can visit during the holidays, please include your location to make it easier for folks to find you. Then add the button below to your linked site or post with a link back to this list (or add a text link).
Many blessings to all of you in this holiday season.
Did you know? At the bottom of every post there is a little button that looks like a printer. When you scroll over it, it says "PrintFriendly". This will allow to quickly and easily print all or part of any post on the site.
