Lilla Rose Flexi-clip upside-down ponytail @ Common Sense Homesteading

The Lilla-Rose Flexi-Clip – I had heard good things about these gadgets, but hadn’t taken the time to check them out.  I was pleasantly surprised when Jill Wright from Paths of Wrighteousness invited me to host a Lilla Rose flexi-clip review and giveaway.

Lilla Rose flexi-clips are easy to use hair accessories that can quickly dress up a variety of hair styles.  Even my son noticed – “Amma, that’s a pretty clip  you have in your hair.”

The clip itself is a flexible figure 8 shape with a sliding pin attached on one side that hooks into the other side to secure the clip.  (These are patented, so you won’t find them just anywhere.)  You can see in the video below how it clips into your hair (in this case, securing an upside-down pony tail).

Here’s mine in a regular ponytail. The clip I’m using in the Antique Brass Roman Cross.  (Not too many gray hairs, lol. ;-) )

There are a LOT of different clips to choose from, as well as different sizes (depending on how much hair you have and what style you prefer – there’s a sizing video on Jill’s site). It works with different hair types, too, from fine and thin to thick and curly.

Here are a few of the pretties.

You can do many different styles, too, although I confess I stuck to the simple ones.  You can use the flexi-clip to secure buns and French twists, “half-ups”, half twists, tails up – as dressy or as casual as you like.

Wouldn’t this be lovely for a wedding or other special event?

Easy to use, durable, comfortable – and pretty!  What’s not to like?
