Certifications

We looked at getting the house certified under numerous programs.  After dealing with it, the certifications don’t really provide a ton of value except in resale (in our opinion).  They do give confirmation that your builder built things correctly (and to the specs listed).  The programs we looked at included:

·        Energy Star

·        Focus on Energy

·        Wisconsin Green Built

·        American Lung Association Health House
